My stay at People Place Boutique In Town Hotel was a mixed experience. The location was a highlight, being just steps away from the night market and other shops. However, the walls were paper thin, which made it hard to sleep through the noise. The breakfast also left much to be desired, as it was quite ordinary and had an additional charge.

My room was spacious and clean, but I had to move the beds around to get to the air conditioning. The beds weren't the most comfortable I've experienced.
Service

The service was just okay; the staff seemed a bit surly and not very helpful during check-in. They were also a bit demanding about paperwork.

The hotel is in a great spot—very close to the night bazaar and plenty of dining options, including a lovely French bakery just around the corner.

Breakfast was pretty ordinary with just pastries, juice, and toast available. I opted to venture out for better food options nearby.

The hotel offered basic facilities like housekeeping and laundry, which were adequate for my needs.

I found my stay at the hotel to be quite average. It was very clean and had a great location near the night markets, but I ran into several issues. The walls weren’t soundproof, which made it a bit noisy, and the breakfast was pretty disappointing.

Rooms

My room was large and super clean, but the beds were not the most comfortable. I had to move them around to get near the air conditioning, which was a bit awkward.
Service

Check-in was a hassle since they demanded my passport and that was a bit different from other places. The staff were quite efficient, but they seemed a little surly.
Location

The location was fantastic for accessing the night bazaar, which is a must-see. It felt safe to walk around, even at night, and had lots of dining options nearby.

Breakfast wasn't worth the additional cost and was very ordinary, but fortunately, there were lovely French bakeries close by that made up for it.
Facilities

The hotel offered basic facilities, but I didn’t use much beyond my room. A small safe area is available at reception for valuables, which was helpful.

My stay was rather ordinary. The location near the night markets was fantastic, but the overall experience left a bit to be desired. While the bed was comfortable, the noise from the thin walls and the lack of soundproofing was a drawback. On the bright side, it was clean and I felt safe in the area.

Rooms

The deluxe twin room was clean and spacious, though a bit dated. The bed was decent but not the most comfortable. I appreciated having air conditioning, but the lack of soundproofing was frustrating.
Service

The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. communication was challenging due to the language barrier, which made it difficult to get local recommendations. Check-in was a bit of a hassle as they demanded my passport and departure card.
Location

The hotel’s location was a huge plus, just a 5-minute walk from the bustling night bazaar, making it easy for me to explore local food and shopping. It was on a quieter street, perfect for a good night's rest after a long day.
Dining

The breakfast was basic, offering a continental style buffet with pastries and coffee. it was adequate but nothing special. Fortunately, there were great local eateries nearby.
Facilities

The hotel provided essential services like housekeeping and laundry, but the facilities felt very basic overall. I really missed having a safe in my room, even though there was a shared safe at the reception.

I had a mixed experience at People Place Boutique. The location is prime, just a short walk from the night bazaar, but the noise from the thin walls and the not-so-great breakfast left some room for improvement. The room was spacious and incredibly clean, which I appreciated. Overall, it's a decent spot for a short stay, but I might look for something else on a return trip. 🏨🌙
